WeDo welcomes 50 strong digital team to the Group

Manchester – 06 June 2022. The launch of WeDo: Digital, an enterprise digital agency with a team of 50 specialists based in Manchester, has been announced by the WeDo Group.

The group is currently formed of 8 businesses that offer complementary services, from business financing to HR. WeDo: Digital is the latest service line expand the capabilities of the group, offering digital know-how including innovation, design, development, and support.

WeDo: Digital co-founders Luke Pilfold-Thomas and Lee Turver, tech entrepreneurs with a combined 30 years of industry experience, are bringing their current digital capabilities into the WeDo Group family by joining forces with Mark Lindsay (CEO) and his team.

The partnership will expand the group offering of WeDo, providing new and existing clients with access to a wider scope of business support services, including bespoke software development, right through to Office 365 and corporate networks.

“To date, WeDo has offered a range of business services like Finance, HR, Payroll and back office services, but there has always been a gap in their profile for digital solutions to support their clients.” explained Luke Pilfold-Thomas. 

“Lee and I have a background in development, delivering bespoke enterprise software, websites and mobile apps. We have known Mark and the team at WeDo for a while, so when we were looking for the next step in our growth, it made sense to align together.”

Lee Turver went on to add, “our experience covers a number of sectors and industries; recruitment, banking, financial services, e-commerce and more. However, our ‘bread and butter’ is delivering enterprise-grade software solutions to our clients. With our combined knowledge, we can make great things happen. We are also looking to work with people who have great digital product ideas, and a business plan in place, to develop and bring their visions to life.”

“WeDo has an appetite to invest in different business opportunities and we feel a Digital presence can help develop new ways of working – it means that WeDo can offer a one-stop shop for business needs, meaning clients can focus on growing their business whilst WeDo help to manage their cashflow, suppliers and in-house technology landscape”, explained Mark Lindsay.

Luke explained, “Lee and I grew up in working class areas but the technology industry has been kind to us. We want to make sure other people also have the opportunity to forge a career in the technology industry too.

This is why I sit on the board of a not-for-profit digital skills organisation and also why WeDo: Digital are sponsoring Manchester Tech Festival taking place later this year.”
