Last year we hosted our first ever Christmas competition to spread a little joy after a challenging time. We really enjoyed it, and we got great feedback, so we wanted to do it all over again!
We love supporting small businesses, and entrepreneurs with big ideas who help to make WeDo better every day. It’s a great way to show our gratitude and build our connections to people who make our industry so inspiring and vibrant.
Last year
2020 was pretty rubbish, wasn’t it? That’s why we decided to hold a competition at Christmas to engage with followers and connections on social media. We gave away vouchers for food and drinks and saw some great entries. We talked about inspiring colleagues, who would be on Santa’s ‘Nice List’, Christmas jumpers and loads more. It really lifted our spirits to read the amazing comments and stories! So, we’re launching a new competition for 2021!
What could you win?
This year, we’ve upped the ante. We’ve decided to give away a grand prize… a brand new Apple iPad! An iPad is a great tool for entrepreneurs and recruiters to use on the go to keep their business ticking along. Gone are the days of having to be tied to a desk or having to carry a laptop – an iPad can do everything you need when you’re out and about meeting connections, clients, and candidates!
Alongside the iPad, we will also be rewarding our daily winners with a bottle of wine, sourced from a local supplier, to help you celebrate the festive season!
What do you need to do?
We don’t want to bore you with T&Cs, although you can read them here, but we do have some criteria to meet for our lucky winners!
Firstly, we want to support recruiters, so this competition is exclusively for you! We want to support people who work in recruitment – just like we do in ‘real life’. That’s why we’ve chosen an iPad as the main prize. We spoke to a few people and we agreed that it could really help somebody in recruitment!
Secondly, you need to be over 18 and a UK resident.
How do you enter?
We will be running the competition across our social media channels between the 13th and 17th of December. We will ask one question each day (they’re just a bit of fun!) and the winning answer will win a bottle of wine. The top five answers each day will go into the grand draw to win the iPad. Simple, really!
